We love getting back to the race circuit and we were stoked to be back working with Alinghi Red Bull Racing and Sail GP, kitting them out with some slick customised Hurricane Fenders. With plenty of racing coming up, these fenders will be getting a good workout!
We take pride in listening to our customers and the market, hearing what they want, and then creating the products to suit. This has lead us to developing two new and bigger fenders. Introducing the XLarge and Big Bertha. Measuring 500 x 1200mm and 600 x 1200mm respectively, these inflatable fenders along with matching neoprene and fleece covers are a great addition to the Hauraki Inflatable Fender family.
Team INEOS UK are the latest AC team to recognise the quality and value of our hurricane fenders, recently taking delivery of 12 fenders with some awesome embroidery to compliment them. The excitement is starting to build with 3 teams now here in Auckland.
Introducing the Fatboy, our large fender's shorter cousin who overindulged during COVID-19 lock down. This fender is 800mm long (length of a small fender) and 400mm wide (width of a large fender) and is ideal for craft with a low freeboard. Neoprene and Fleece covers also available.
Announcing the arrival of neoprene covers to the Hauraki Fenders family! These are 3mm neoprene, available in black. They are UV treated and reversible for an extra long life. And better still, this fabric is designed to reduce any potential scuff on your hull and help to eliminate any fender squeak. A heavy duty fender cover for when you are boat-to-wharf or when you just need something with a bit more grunt.
A record breaking 38 yachts lined up for the infamous SSANZ RNI. This 2-handed yacht race consists of 1200 nautical miles over 4 legs around the North Island of New Zealand. Over half the fleet were carrying Hauraki Fenders onboard for use during the stop overs. A true testament to how popular we have become in New Zealand.
We are proud to say we have officially entered the South Island lake market. The luxury charter vessel Pacific Jemm which operates on the stunning Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is the latest commercial vessel to choose our products.
